C.O.R. Certified with The Nova Scotia Construction Safety Association

C.O.R. = Certificate of Recognition. A C.O.R. recognizes that the health and safety management system of an employer has been evaluated by an auditor to meet the specific standards. A health and safety management system is a process put in place by an employer to minimize the incidence of injury and illness to workers, protects our environment, our customers and our assets. This is accomplished through identifying, assessing and controlling risks and potential risks to workers in all workplace operations. To be effective, the following components are considered to be essential and form the basis of our health and safety management system:

    • identification and analysis of health and safety hazards at the worksite
    • control measures to eliminate or reduce the risks to workers from these hazards
    • clearly-stated company policy and management commitment
    • worker competency and training
    • inspection program
    • emergency response planning
    • incident/accident investigation
    • program administration

Management Systems

Safe Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Job Safety Analysis (JSA’s) and Daily Drilling Reports (DDR’s) just to name a few. They all have a place in ensuring a job is completed safely and effectively. We generate JSA’s and DDR’s for every job, every day. It’s our way of identifying hazards and mitigating risk to personnel, the environment and the equipment. This also allows us track drilling costs so we can find ways to work more efficiently and in turn offer competitive rates that truly represent the cost of a project. As a customer, you have the option of receiving electronic copies of the drilling reports so you can monitor our performance and file for reference on future jobs.
